The Atlas Cavern H/F Deck sits on a grass pitch at Kent Coast Holiday Park with room for three cars - two at the side, one out front - and enough open lawn beyond that to let children run properly, dogs stretch out in the sun, and summer evenings unfold without stepping off your pitch.

You're only a five-minute walk to the Thames foreshore - ideal for those early morning dog walks when the world's still quiet, or clearing your head before the day properly starts. Ten minutes the other way and you're at the clubhouse. Close enough to use. Far enough that you feel like you've actually got away.

This is the Atlas Cavern with high-fronted deck - a layout that's known for making good use of space without feeling cramped. Double glazed, central heating throughout, and a build quality that's held up well since it was sited. It feels looked after.

The front room is light, open, and fitted with a double sofa bed for when you need extra sleeping space or guests stay over. TV mounted on the wall. Seating wraps around enough to seat the family comfortably – the kind of space where everyone can actually relax together.

The real party piece though is the patio doors leading from the front room onto the built-in decking with roof. From here, you can watch the sunset over the Thames Estuary - the kind that makes you stop what you're doing and just stand there. It's one of those things that turns a nice holiday home into one you keep coming back to. One you miss when you're not there.

The kitchen's fully equipped - oven, hob, fridge freezer, microwave. And a dishwasher, which isn't always a given but makes a real difference when you've got a full house or you're back late from the beach and the last thing you want is a sink full of plates. Worktop space is really decent. Storage underneath. It's a kitchen that works – the kind where you can actually cook properly if you want to.

Three bedrooms. The main bedroom has a proper double bed - and it's a storage bed, so there's a whole extra layer of space underneath for bedding, cases, or whatever you don't want cluttering the place. There's a TV in here too, for those mornings when the rest of the family are up and about and you're not quite ready to face the world yet.

Out the back, there's a metal storage box. Weatherproof. Big enough for bikes, garden chairs, buckets and spades, or anything else you'd rather not have inside but need on hand.

No concrete drive, but the grass pitch more than makes up for it. You can park sensibly - two cars at the side, one in front - and still have a generous grassed area out the front. Really safe for children to play – the kind of safe where you can let them out and not watch every second. Where they can be loud, run around, make dens, and just be children. Loads of room. The dog can wander about. You can sit out with a chair and a drink and actually switch off.

In the evening, you get a proper sunset over the Thames Estuary, which is visible right from the decking whilst sipping wine and chatting. The kind of sunset that makes you stop what you're doing. The kind you take a photo of, then realise the photo doesn't do it justice.
