Some places just feel right the moment you step inside. This is one of them.

This 2021 Swift Bordeaux sits exactly where you'd want it to – tucked into a peaceful corner of the park with mature woodland behind, giving you the kind of privacy that's hard to find. There's a path that cuts through those trees, leading down to the waterfront at Kippford, or if you fancy the walk, on to Rockcliffe – another gem of a coastal village worth the effort.

The position matters here. Set slightly higher than the caravans around it, you're not staring into anyone else's windows. Just views. Just space. Just the trees and the sky and whatever you choose to look at while the kettle's on.

Built for How You'll Actually Use It

The Swift Bordeaux has always been known for getting the details right, and this one's no exception. The 'Maldives' soft furnishings scheme runs throughout – elegant without trying too hard, and perfectly matched to the warm 'Nebraska Oak' woodgrain that gives the whole interior that welcoming, modern feel.

The open-plan living flows naturally from lounge to kitchen with no squeezing past and no wasted corners. There's a freestanding two-piece suite with a fold-out occasional bed, because sometimes guests stay longer than planned. The framed fireplace houses a 'Bach' electric fire for those evenings when the temperature drops, and a sleek coffee table with upholstered stools tucked underneath brings form and function together without any fuss.

The kitchen's been thoughtfully designed with 'Riverstone' soft-close units and 'Torano Marble' laminate worktops that look far more expensive than they should. You'll find a Thetford 'Cocina' glass-fronted oven and grill with a four-burner gas hob, an integrated microwave, and an A+ rated double-door fridge freezer – everything you need without the clutter.

The main bedroom offers a generous king-size bed measuring 6'3" x 5'0" with lift-up storage underneath and an exclusive Duvalay Aurora mattress, the kind you actually sleep well on. There's an en-suite WC off the main bedroom, because privacy matters, especially when you've got company staying. The second bedroom has twin single beds with tall wardrobe storage at the base of one, giving you proper space for longer stays.

The family bathroom features a thermostatic shower with a large glass cubicle, WC, and wash basin. Throughout the caravan, you'll walk on luxury carpet with underlay that's both stain-resistant and soft underfoot. Low-energy LED lighting and USB sockets are fitted throughout, bringing modern living without the lecture. A condensing gas combi-boiler handles the central heating and hot water, while Thermaglas uPVC double glazing keeps you warm in March and cool in August.

Rather than the usual timber, UPVC decking has been fitted throughout, giving you a brighter, cleaner finish that's far less hassle to maintain. It suits the modern look of the Bordeaux perfectly, and more importantly, it lasts.

There are two distinct outdoor areas designed for different moments. The main decked space runs along the side and is generous enough for a proper dining table, loungers, and still room to move about comfortably. It's fully enclosed with a lockable gate, so if you've got young ones or a dog, that's one less thing to worry about.

At the front, there's a Juliet balcony accessible through the patio doors with just enough space for a couple of chairs and a morning coffee while you decide whether today's a doing day or a sitting-still day.

Kippford Bay: The Park That Doesn't Try Too Hard

This isn't a resort. There's no entertainment team. No packed schedule. And that's exactly the point.

Kippford Bay is a small, family-run park that sits quietly on Scotland's southwest coast. It's open 48 weeks a year, closed only in February, and it's the kind of place retired and semi-retired owners come back to because it lets them actually relax.

It's pet-friendly, family-friendly, and peaceful without being dull. This is the kind of place where you arrive planning to stay three days and start wondering if you can stretch it to a week.

This isn't just a caravan. It's the place you'll go when work gets loud, when you need to remember what quiet sounds like, when you want your weekends to feel longer than they are.

The Swift Bordeaux gives you the space. Kippford Bay gives you the setting. The woodland path gives you somewhere to walk when you need to think. The decking gives you somewhere to sit when you're done thinking.

It's ready. It's waiting. And it's exactly what you've been looking for, even if you didn't quite know it until now.
